Check Out Great Live Music in Tacoma at Mary Mart’s Musician Hour

Musician Hour show

Here at Mary Mart, we love having fun! That’s why for the last year we’ve been showcasing local talent and live music in Tacoma every month for our customers and budtenders alike to enjoy.

We first started out with Mary Mart’s Got Talent — where we saw many acts ranging from music to spoken word to stand-up comedy. As the show evolved, and more and more musicians performed, Mary Mart’s Got Talent officially became Mary Mart’s Musician Hour. The Tacoma music scene has so much talent we love to boast; some of that talent even coming from our own budtenders!

This last March, we had our one-year anniversary show and it was better than ever! As always, the show was hosted by our very own Terrance P.

Here’s the recap:

The Sleep Stealers

Back on the Mary Mart stage for a second time, The Sleep Stealers came in hot again with all his gadgets! His classic rock sounds and slick guitar picking serenaded the crowd.

Lotus Lynn

We were lucky to get another performance by Lotus Lynn! Her voice is reminiscent to that of Alannah Myles (singer of “Black Velvet”). Her strong voice soothed the crowd and carried home the messages of her songs.

Bailey Ukulele

Bringing in relaxing reggae vibes on the ukulele, Bailey’s got the heart of a lion! His songs brought inspiring chills to the crowd and showcased his smooth vocals.

Bringing in new live music in Tacoma to the Mary Mart stage was Blood, Fire and Rainwater. They brought classic rock vibes and lively energy to the crowd! An impressive mix of acoustic guitar and tambourine/box drumming made for wonderfully original music. They are an absolute must-see!
