Tacoma boasts so much artistic talent that needs showcasing! Luckily, you can catch an amazing Tacoma talent show at Mary Mart, hosted by Terrance P! With the inaugural Mary Mart’s Got Talent show being so popular, we had to do it again! We had some familiar faces, a lot of fresh faces, and a variety of talent.
Don’t worry! If you missed this one, you can catch the next one in September. (Due to popular demand, the talent show will be held monthly, not every other month as previously stated.)
Here are the performers from June’s show:
Clyde Villain
Clyde Villain is a musician stealing the hearts of many in the Tacoma-Seattle area with his soothing and impressive vocals coupled with his precise and elegant guitar skills. As the opening act, he immediately demanded attention!
Tajanae
Tajanae is a Tacoma-native rapper who captured audience attention through her melodic vocals and smooth interactions. She currently is performing in many venues between Tacoma and Seattle with her DJ, DJ Baloogz.
Riceman
Our second time hosting Riceman in the talent show! He continues to be a popular comedian in the Tacoma comedy world. Who knows where you’ll find him next!
T-Town Tim
Another familiar face, this was musician T-Town Tim’s second time on the Mary Mart stage! He brought the heat with his stellar guitar strumming and picking work, once more!
Vealinium
Bryan aka Vealinium is a bright and aspiring rapper based in Tacoma. He founded KowchSurferz Anonymous, which is a hub of collaborative creatives. He had the crowd moving and grooving with his smooth vibes and lyrics! You can catch him performing at multiple venues around Tacoma as he continues to make a name for himself!
Mad Mellow
Mad Mellow is a 5-6 member band displaying some of the coolest and funkiest music in all of Tacoma! They captured the audience with their synchronistic sounds encompassing vocals, guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums. Thank you Mad Mellow for gracing us with your high vibes and hope to see you back in a future talent show!
Kaybee
Kaybee is a rapper from St. Louis, Missouri, who trekked across the US to spread his music to the PNW. His cutting words and fast-paced rhymes got the crowd hyped! Catch his EP coming out soon and find him in other Tacoma talent shows!
Lauren
We gratefully welcomed Lauren with her second poised performance on the Mary Mart stage! She continues to exude melodic hypnotic sounds whenever she performs. Looking forward to what the future holds for this brilliant and well-traveled musician!
Simone
Our former employee Simone shared her truth in the form of spoken word poetry. It was a chilling, relevant, inspiring and reflective piece. Her passion lies in advocacy for POC in the Tacoma community.
Laila
Laila is a poetic feminist taking Tacoma by storm with her wit and life truths! Her local presence is growing swiftly as she hustles to gain exposure at multiple Tacoma talent shows.
DJ Crico
DJ Crico moved here from Naples, Italy, and easily fit in with the Tacoma crowd. Italian Chef during the day and DJ by night, he’s gradually becoming one of the freshest up-and-coming DJs in Tacoma.
